By downloading, installing, or using TandemBaby ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
1. Description of service
TandemBaby is a baby tracking application for iOS that helps parents and caregivers log feeding, sleep, diaper changes, medicine, and developmental milestones. The App is available as a free version with optional paid subscription upgrades ("TandemBaby Pro").
2. Not medical advice
TandemBaby is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The App is a logging and tracking tool designed to help you observe patterns in your baby's routine. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your pediatrician or qualified healthcare provider with questions about your child's health. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information displayed in the App.
3. Subscriptions
TandemBaby Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription, purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Prices may vary by region and are set through App Store Connect. Apple handles all currency conversion.
- Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.
4. Free trial
If offered, the free trial gives you full access to TandemBaby Pro features for the trial period. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.
5. Your data
All baby tracking data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device loss, damage, or app deletion. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use TandemBaby only for its intended purpose — tracking and understanding your baby's daily routine. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
7. Intellectual property
TandemBaby, including its design, code, icons, illustrations, and content, is owned by TandemBaby and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. The Orbit view, notification personality system, and Whisper Mode are original features of TandemBaby. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TandemBaby and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data stored on your device
- Decisions made based on information displayed in the App
- Interruption or unavailability of the App
- Any health-related outcomes
Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for TandemBaby Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
10. Termination
You may stop using TandemBaby at any time by deleting the App. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time. If we discontinue the App, we will provide reasonable notice.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the member state in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
